The moisture calculations run in your browser. Room names, temperature readings, humidity values and saved measurement history are not sent to our server by the calculator itself.

Local storage

“Save setup” and “Save snapshot” use browser local storage. A saved snapshot can include room temperature, RH, calculated room/surface values and the outdoor temperature you entered so the local Room Trend Review can compare readings with weather context. The saved values remain on that browser/device until you clear them or clear site data. Trend review and CSV export are created locally in your browser.

Share links

The share feature encodes the current calculator setup into the URL. Anyone who receives that link can read the encoded room names and values, so do not use sensitive labels.

Cloudflare

The site is hosted through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical request, security and delivery data needed to serve and protect the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics may also be used for aggregate site performance measurement.

Google AdSense

Home Moisture Lab uses Google AdSense to serve advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention, subject to applicable consent choices. Where required, a consent interface is shown before advertising-related storage or personalization is used.
